Senior School Grades 8-12 BOLT Schedule

Teachers will meet with their classes synchronously via Google Hangout. These “live” sessions will get the lesson started, set the intentions for the lesson, and provide an opportunity for interaction. This first 10 minute time slot (“First 10”) is also the time when teachers will take attendance for the class. These expectations are the same for students who enrolled in a Support Block.

For the rest of the class, teachers may allow for small group collaborations, or independent work, or may continue with a full class “live” session. Students will continue their work asynchronously at times.

Teachers will concurrently post written instructions on Google Classroom which will provide links to resources and/or relevant documents for the day.

In the afternoons, all teachers will be offering Office Hours. Students may schedule an appointment for a 1-1 session with teacher(s) at any time to enhance their BOLT learning.

BOLT and Student Services in the Senior School

Teachers and the Student Services team will be available for communication during the regular school hours of 8:25am - 4pm PST.

In addition to their regularly scheduled course times, teachers and our counsellors will be setting “Office Hours.” They will share available appointment times with students and parents, so that students and parents can schedule a Google Hangout/Zoom meeting or a phone call via Google audio.
