World Music Program Carnegie Hall debut and Senior School tour of New York City!
Brockton's Senior School is getting ready to embark on an exciting tour of New York City! On March 22, 53 students will embark on a 9-day cultural journey that will feature the World Music Program’s (WMP’s) Carnegie Hall debut. The WMP is one of four high school music programs in the world chosen to perform at Carnegie Hall’s “Sounds of Spring” festival. While in NYC, our students will also perform at a children’s hospital and a nursing centre, as well as the New Jersey Liberty Science Centre. As part of this IB learning experience, we will visit many historic and cultural NYC venues, such as the United Nations, the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the New York Public Library. We will also visit famous New York landmarks, go on a harbour yacht cruise, and attend a Broadway show. Please follow our school’s social media pages for more updates!
