Congratulations Kasia!
Kasia has been at the school for 11 years, and has been an invaluable student and peer for Brockton. Her earliest memory took place one morning in Kindergarten when she took too long to colour in a picture because she refused to go “outside of the lines.”
As a co-chair of the Community Action Team for Social Justice, Kasia has continued to make positive impacts on the community, leading initiatives such as Volunteer Month, Harvest Project food drives, and One Girl Can fundraisers. Teachers describe her as intelligent, focussed, and a leader. If she could give the younger students one piece of advice, it would be to find balance by discovering what helps you rest, recover, and re-energise.
Kasia plans to take a gap year after graduation, to travel and feed her passion for writing by finishing her latest novel.
Congratulations Kasia, we’re excited to see where the future takes you (and to read your novel when it’s done)!
