Congratualtions Sham!
Sham joined Brockton 6 years ago, and has been an active community member since her first day on campus. Her first memory of Brockton was her love of her Grade 6 music class. She has continued her interest in music throughout her senior years by joining the World Music Program SSE and taking Grade 12 Guitar. She has also been an enthusiastic participant in Brockton athletics throughout the years as a member of the Track and Field team (NSSSAA Racewalker), and a manager for the Senior Volleyball team.
Sham says that Brockton has inspired her to be a risk-taker, and her teachers agree that she demonstrates this both in her classes and in extracurricular activities. She has been an executive member of the Community Action Team for Arts and Culture (CAT-AC), and has helped plan initiatives such as Coffee House and Multiculturalism Week. Her advice for younger students is to not be afraid to ask questions or reach out for help.
Next year, Sham plans to pursue a business degree. Congratulations Sham, we’re excited to see what the future holds for you!
