Congratulations Jacob!
Jacob has been at Brockton since Kindergarten, and has had many incredible teachers describe him as motivated, intelligent, enthusiastic, and a true leader. Jacob says that Brockton has inspired him to be resilient and not give up in the face of challenges. He has displayed his resilience in many different ways, including most recently in his personal successes within athletics on the Senior Volleyball team (2022 NSSSAA regular season champions) and the Senior Basketball team.
Jacob is the Co-Chair of the Community Action Team for Arts and Culture (CAT-AC), where he has been involved in planning various initiatives, including the Coffee House, art celebrations, and Multiculturalism Week. He has also been a member of the World Music Programme since Grade 7, where he has had the opportunity to tour both locally and internationally. His academic achievements are immense, and over the years he has been the recipient of both the MYP Scholar Award and Sandy Brun Award.
Next year, Jacob plans to pursue a business degree at a university either in Canada or the US. Congratulations Jacob, we know your future will be bright!
