Congratulations, Lera!
Lera began her Brockton journey in Grade 5 and has been a valued classmate, student, and community member ever since. Lera credits Brockton for inspiring her to be more creative and organized, and has helped improve her teamwork skills and confidence throughout the years. Lera has been fortunate to learn and grow from many amazing faculty members and is especially grateful to Ms. MacRae, her first Brockton teacher, who had a memorable impact by showing her to be a more open-minded individual. If Lera could give the younger students one piece of advice, it would be to set meaningful goals and work hard to achieve them.
Lera is on the Community Action Team for Health and Wellbeing (CAT-HW), where she has organized many important school-wide initiatives with her peers. She is an active member of the World Music Program’s Senior Specialized Ensemble (SSE). She highlights producing music and playing the marimba as some of her fondest Brockton memories.
Next year, Lera is off to University to further her studies in science, in hopes of achieving her dream of becoming a doctor. Brockton wishes you all the best, Lera!
