Congratulations, Emmett!
Emmett began attending Brockton in Grade 6, alongside his older sister, Tilly (class of 2020). He remembers moving all the way from New Zealand with his family, and starting at Brockton alongside his new peers the first day after Winter Break. Emmett believes that being a student at Brockton has inspired him to pursue a career in business. If he could give the younger students one piece of advice, it would be to not be afraid to take risks and try new things, like he did with track and field and other sports he hadn’t tried before.
Speaking of Track and Field, Emmett has achieved great success during his career as a Grizzly, including representing Brockton at Provincials for High Jump. He was also a member of the boys volleyball and basketball teams, where he demonstrated his athletic talent and sportsmanship on and off the court. Emmett is the current Co-Chair of the Community Action Team for Arts and Culture (CAT-AC), where he has planned various events for the entire school community.
Upon graduation, Emmett will attend University to continue his students in business. Good luck with all your future adventures, Emmett!
