What better way to start the school year than with friends, fun, and the sun coming out! September 3, 2024, saw the Brockton community gather together again for the annual Welcome Back Barbecue and Orientation. 700 community members turned out to connect and reconnect after the summer, helped along by the White Spot food trucks, games, music, and snow cones.
The orientation was a great opportunity for our new and returning families to meet and mingle, explore their new classrooms, and connect with their teachers. Younger students loved the face-painting station, and older students showed their competitive sides on the inflatable obstacle course. The magic show was new this year and a hit with guests of all ages!
A big thank you needs to go to the Brockton Parent Community (BPC) for pulling everything together to make this event the success it was. An incredible group of parent volunteers rallied to help set up tables and chairs, greet guests, and clean up – thank you, BPC!
