                 GIVE TO BROCKTON NOW

  • Annual Giving Campaign: While the fundamental day to day operations of the school are funded by tuition and fees, the Annual Giving Campaign is essential to direct resources to key needs and initiatives that will allow the school to optimize the present day and lay foundations for the future. In general, independent schools like Brockton are reliant on the generosity of families and friends to sustain these models of excellence that we all value. We appreciate that there are many worthy causes to support in this world, and we assure you, Brockton and the inspired growth of our outstanding humans is one of them!

Annual giving funds are instrumental to the advancement of the school in areas such as curricular and co-curricular programming and resources, campus infrastructure/facilities, student awards and financial aid, and professional development  Participation in annual giving is in many ways as important as the amount given. To be certain, ALL gifts - big or small - will help us achieve our goal of 100% participation.

  • Capital Campaign: At this time, Brockton School is not in the public phase of a Capital Campaign. Stay tuned for the exciting next steps on this significant journey.

When you make a gift to Brockton School, you have flexibility in determining what type of gift you will make and how the funds will be used.

All gifts of $25 or over to the school are eligible for a charitable donation receipt, thereby reducing the after-tax cost of your contribution.

  • One Time Gifts: Brockton School welcomes gifts from our generous and considerate donors at any time. Tax receipts will be issued as will Brockton School’s sincere gratitude!

  • Pledged Gifts: Gifts can be pledged and paid over a predetermined period of time, making a larger investment more manageable while also opening up more opportunities to be recognized.

  • Entry Bond (interest): The Brockton entry donation/bond is an opportunity to make a donation to the school in lieu of providing a non-interest bearing bond that remains with the school until your oldest child graduates. Many families choose to make the donation in order to take advantage of the immediate tax benefits of the contribution. Families holding unique interest-bearing bonds most often donate the interest of those bonds to the school.

  • Sponsorships: Brockton provides many opportunities for corporate and/or individual sponsorship throughout the year. Whether it is sponsorship at an organized school event or sponsorship of something unique, gifts are genuinely appreciated. Gifts of sponsorship may be recognized in various manners, including but not limited to public recognition/promotion and additional ‘perks’.

  • Planned Giving: Planned giving is the process of donating planned gifts often as a means of leaving a legacy. A planned gift is a contribution that is arranged in the present and allocated at a future date. There are many ways to establish your legacy with a planned gift to Brockton School such as: donating securities, naming Brockton as a beneficiary in your will or estate plan, or including Brockton in your life insurance policy, and more. Brockton School will work with your legal and tax advisors to support your planned gift.

  • Securities: While cash donations receive a tax receipt for the full amount of the gift, securities offer an additional advantage in that donors receive both a receipt for the full current value of the appreciated securities and an exemption from capital gains taxes on the amount of the appreciation. This can be a significant advantage over a direct donation of cash.
