An independent co-ed IB school (JK to Grade 12) in North Vancouver, Canada
January 29th 2021

Brockton continues to provide a rich Outdoor Education experience, including for our POD students. On January 20, our grade 6 and 7 students set off to tackle the great outdoors to complete a variety of tasks. On a gorgeous winter day in Lynn Canyon, the grade 6 class used their inquiring minds to identify indigenous plants and learn about some of the uses and stories behind them.
Meanwhile, the grade 7’s engaged in shelter building with tarps and ropes. Utilizing their collaboration and thinking skills, the students attempted their first shelters. It was a fine day to show our outdoor knowledge and skills.
