An independent co-ed IB school (JK to Grade 12) in North Vancouver, Canada
November 8th 2021

With the Junior fall season matches coming to an end, this week was all about the friendly match between both Grade 6/7 Volleyball teams, as well as the Senior Volleyball team in their NSSSAA and GVISAA finals.
We are looking forward to beginning the Winter athletic season the first week back from the Midterm break. Please refer to your email, or this link, for further registration details.

Junior School Volleyball:

Both teams ended their seasons in the Brockton gym with an exciting final game. While the sets were close, the Junior Girl's Volleyball team took the win. All coaches were impressed with the team's sportspersonship, dedication, and heart. Great season, Grizzlies!

Senior School Volleyball:

On November 3rd, Brockton attended the GVISSA (Greater Vancouver Independent Secondary Schools Association) Final 8 tournament in Burnaby. Brockton dug deep, bonded as a team, and with scrappy play, came away with the Silver. Colin Benedet was named to the GVISSA tournament All-Star team.

On November 4th, the Grizzlies earned Bronze against Sutherland at the NSSSAA (North Shore Secondary Schools Athletics Association) Final 4 tournament at Argyle. They were cheered on by many parents, faculty, and students from the Brockton community. Colin Benedet and Ryan Benedet were named to the NSSSAA All-Star team.

After a 42-match season, it is time for the team to prepare for the Vancouver Sea to Sky (Zone Single A) Provincials qualifying tournament on November 17th at Vancouver Christian School.

Go Grizzlies!
