Ms. Jessica Silberg has been a part of the Junior Kindergarten programme at Brockton School since its inaugural year in 2016 and in 2019/20 is taking on an extended role with Student Services (Learning Resources). Originally from Ottawa, Jessica moved westward in 2012 and is happy to now call North Vancouver her home. She earned a Bachelor of Education from Nippising University, and completed a B.A. (honours) in Child Studies at Carleton University. Jessica is certified in Early Childhood Education and has completed Special Education training in Ontario. Over the past 14 years, Jessica has taught in independent schools, public schools, daycares, as well as provided individualized educational support to students with special needs. When she is not teaching, Jessica enjoys crafting, hiking, and going on adventures with her family and dog Jack. Jessica loves teaching and strives to build a warm, welcoming classroom community that provides each student the opportunity to reach their full potential. Her hope is to inspire her students to follow their passions and introduce them to the joys of learning. Jessica is looking forward to continuing to build positive relationships with colleagues, students, and their families at Brockton School.
