POST-SECONDARY AND CAREER COUNSELING

The high school program at Brockton is focussed on preparing students for post-secondary paths AND life during and beyond those paths. Brockton School works with each graduating senior to determine the best fit for their post-secondary pathway. Starting in Grade 10, students meet individually with Brockton’s Post-Secondary Advisor to explore options for post-secondary life, and determine the course best suited for their chosen direction.

COMMUNITY ACTION AND LEADERSHIP

Service Learning is an important aspect of learning at Brockton School at all stages, and everybody has the opportunity to be a difference maker. High School students at Brockton take on leadership and mentoring roles both in and outside of the classroom, and are encouraged to explore and pursue areas of interest and passion as they delve into their personal and social responsibilities. The Community Action Teams (CATs) are an opportunity for students to engage in service learning in different areas, including Environmental Responsibility, Social Justice, and Health and Wellbeing.
