Congratulations Ryan!
Ryan joined Brockton in Kindergarten, and has been an impactful student and peer ever since. Ryan’s first Brockton memory is arriving on his first day of school with his two older brothers, Colin and Matt. Teachers describe Ryan as a disciplined student and creative thinker, as well as a quiet leader in and out of the classroom. Ryan is the Director of Communications on the Community Action Team for Arts and Culture (CAT-AC), and has been a member of the World Music Program’s ensembles since Grade 7.
Ryan’s athletic career at Brockton has been exceptional. He was recognized as the Junior Athlete of the Year in 2021, and has been an invaluable member of the Senior Boys Volleyball team since Grade 9. He served as the team Captain, leading the team to win the 2022 NSSSAA regular season and was named the MVP of the All-Star team. Ryan has also found success in Track and Field, and currently holds the NSSSAA record for Shot Put and earned the Bantam & Senior Boys Aggregate Awards in 2019 and 2023. Outside of school, Ryan was a member of the U17 BC Volleyball team (2022), and won the silver medal at the Canada Games. You can also find him on the ice rink, where he is a member of the NSWC hockey team.
Next year, Ryan will pursue a degree at the Beedie School of Business at SFU. Congratulations Ryan, we are so proud of all your accomplishments!
