What a way to start the school year! September 5, 2023 saw the Brockton community gather together again for the annual Welcome Back Barbeque. This year’s event was one to remember, with the White Spot food trucks returning, lawn games and minigolf, face-painting, and over 680 community members connecting and reconnecting after a summer of fun!
The barbeque was a great opportunity for our new and returning families to meet and mingle, explore their new classrooms, and connect with their teachers. Younger students loved the face-painting station, and older students showed their competitive sides on the inflatable obstacle course.
A big thank you needs to go to the Brockton Parent Community for pulling everything together to make this event the success it was. Volunteers rallied to send out invites, print name tags, set up tables, greet new families, and clean up after everyone had left – thank you BPC!
