Congratulations Erik!
Erik joined the Brockton community in Grade 7, and feels that the school has inspired him by continuously pushing him outside of his comfort zone, which has resulted in significant growth in overcoming his own personal challenges. Erik is grateful for the incredibly supportive environment that both his peers and teachers have fostered.
Erik is the Director of Communications on the Community Action Team for Arts & Culture (CAT-AC), where he has been involved in many important initiatives during his time here. His biggest piece of advice for younger students is to reach out and communicate with your teachers, as they really are there to help support you and your needs.
Next year, Erik plans to attend either UBC or UVIC to study Psychology. He hopes to continue his interest in mental health (and share his passion with others) by becoming a licensed therapist. Brockton wishes Erik all the best in his future endeavors.
