The Community Action Team for Health and Wellbeing (CAT-HW) is proud to announce the launch of a new website for the Brockton community, a Mental Health Directory. Our team created this website for the student body, staff, and community to access information, tips, and resources related to mental health. The website is an ongoing project of ours, meaning it will be added to continuously throughout this year and the years to come with new and updated information. The CAT-HW created the site to hopefully provide a trusted resource with lots of helpful information to our community, all in one place.
When creating the site, our team brought into consideration the different groups of people who might be accessing it. With this in mind, there are different parts of our website that cater to everyone who might need it. There are sections that are purely informational for those who have any sort of curiosity on the matter of mental health; there are resources for anyone struggling with their mental health; there are tips for simply maintaining good mental health; and much more.
The CAT-HW has been working on this website for the past couple of years, carefully curating information that is both relevant and helpful. We would also like to specifically credit our past CAT-HW Co-Chairs, Ella Swetlikoff and Jess Crawford (Class of 2023), for starting this initiative and caring so much for it.
